Are you a dynamic, innovative, and results-oriented Mechanical Project Engineer looking to make a significant impact in a fast-growing organization? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team. You will be a key player in driving our product development and innovation efforts, working closely with a dedicated team to design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems. This role is ideal for a professional with a solid background in mechanical engineering, design, project engineering, welding, laser technology, AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and Ladder logic.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
2. Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
3. Conduct product testing and create models and prototypes.
4. Oversee the manufacturing process for the machinery.
5. Perform research to determine the best way to manufacture a particular item.
6. Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders about project expectations and timelines.
7. Develop and implement project activities plans and timelines, coordinate team activities and oversee project execution to ensure timely and efficient task completion.
8. Use AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and other design software to create technical drawings and specifications.
9. Implement and adapt to the latest laser and welding technology in the design and manufacturing process.
10. Use ladder logic to program and troubleshoot industrial control systems.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
3. Proven experience (3+ years) as a mechanical engineer, design engineer, or project engineer.
4. Proficiency in mechanical design and analysis tools, including AutoCAD and 3D modeling software.
5. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with welding and laser technology.
6. Familiarity with ladder logic and its application in industrial control systems.
7. Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of driving projects to successful completion.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously and adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
11. Self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and grow, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
