Mechanical Project Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Mechanical Project Engineer for a full-time position in the Alpharetta, Georgia area. This company is a leading producer of heavy industrial crane and conveyor technology. 

Employment Type: Contract-to-Direct
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Expected Pay Range: $30 - $36 per hour, before conversion, depending on experience.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in engineering with knowledge of heavy industrial equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical components, steel fabrication, and AISC painting requirements.
• SolidWorks experience

In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Duties:

• Work with Project Managers to facilitate the completion of heavy equipment and bulk material handling project builds
• Prepare project schedule, drawing list, and specifications
• Ready client invoices and bills of material
• Assure timely completion of drawings and documents
• Help assemble bid packages and negotiate with sub-vendors and contractors
• Construct Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manuals
• Coordinate and schedule deliveries for equipment.
• Assist in overseeing erection of machinery
• Mark up as-built drawings
• Manage back-end items like performance guarantees, warranty issues and required maintenance
