Mechanical Product Engineer - Engineering Resource Group

Description

• Permanent position for a Mechanical Product Engineer for industrial filtration products.
• Create 2D and 3D CAD Drawings.
• Support the pre-sales phase of projects by creating basic product designs based on specifications.
• Produce approved production drawings to meet customer specifications, manufacturability, and cost requirements.
• Source, and price materials from suppliers.
• From procured lists, calculate estimates of how much and what kind of material is required for each job.
• Quote and gain approvals for job costs as required.
• Enter data into ERP system to create BOM for each project.
• Create templates and assembly procedures for use by the team.
• Design machine components and tools.
• Reside as internal specialist and point of contact for ERP system and for related questions.
• Inspection of customer equipment for repair.

Requirements

• BS Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Engineer.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design CAD software (AutoCAD preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong command of MS Office 365 products.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
