Summary
We seek a skilled and experienced Mechanical Pre-Construction Sales Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be local to the area, with a stable work history and a strong background in mechanical engineering. This role requires expertise in AutoCAD and Revit and experience with plumbing, piping, HVAC, design, engineering, and sales estimating. Projects will include healthcare facilities, data centers, labs, schools, airports, high-rises, and arenas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to identify and secure pre-construction sales opportunities.
- Prepare and present detailed estimates and proposals for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient project planning.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for design and estimation purposes.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion of pre-construction activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in pre-construction sales, estimating, and project management within the mechanical construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- A local candidate with a stable work history is preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience with healthcare, data centers, labs, schools, airports, high-rises, and arenas.
