Mechanical Machine Assembler - Akron, Ohio - JOB 23-00485
Salary Range: $18.00 - $25.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits
Akron based original equipment manufacturer has an immediate need for several experienced mechanical assemblers. The duties of these positions will entail machinery assembly from prints and other, general shop duties. Candidates will need to provide their own set of basic tools and safety shoes.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.

REQUIREMENTS
- HS diploma (technical school training is a plus)
- Demonstrated experience with machine/mechanical assembly from prints
- Working knowledge of all typical hand and power tools
- Ability to interpret mechanical prints and ideally hydraulic schematics
- Steel toe safety shoes required
- Must have own tool box with hand tools, full sets, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers hammer, etc.
- Welding skills highly desirable
- 1st shift (8am 4:pm with occasional overtime)
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and climb, kneel, etc. as needed
