Mechanical Machine Assembler - Akron, Ohio #24-00504

Salary Range: $20 - $25hr. based on experience Permanent Position with Benefits

Wickliffe, Ohio machine tool builder company is seeking to hire a Machine Assembler to repair / rebuild drilling, tapping, and other automated machinery. Experience is preferred but willing to consider entry level candidates

REQUIREMENTS

• HS diploma (technical school training is a plus)
• 3+ years' experience is preferred (willing to consider entry level candidates)
• Familiar with and ability to use hand and power tools (wrench, socket/ratchet, screwdriver, drill, saw, pipe wrench, micrometers, calipers...)
• Should own basic hand tools and safety shoes
• Basic machinist skills (buffer, grinders, polishing, drill presses, punch presses, lathes mills) is a plus
• Knowledge to read and interpret technical drawings / blueprints is strongly preferred
• Plumbing (hydraulic & pneumatic) and electrical knowledge is a strong plus
• Disassemble, repair & rebuild mechanical machinery assembly from prints
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Fitting, adjusting & assembling feed units, drill heads, and collet tools

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
