Job Details
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing building systems and generating construction documentation for institutional projects in various markets. We value motivation and expertise in our candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handling units, ductwork, piping, and controls.
- Conduct mechanical system design calculations.
- Create detailed design documents using REVIT.
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control in design work.
- Lead project teams and manage projects effectively.
- Collaborate with Owners and Architects.
- Coordinate with other disciplines.
- Conduct research to ensure code compliance.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
- Assist in securing new projects and fostering client relationships.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of design experience as a registered engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer license (PE) is advantageous.
- Experience with complex institutional projects.
- LEED experience; certification preferred.
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and design guidelines.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and collaborate within a team.
- Proficiency in REVIT and MS Office suites.
