This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are passionate about construction methods related to mechanical systems: plumbing, sheet metal, hydronic, and process piping construction methods
. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting construction drawings, performing detailed take-offs, and accurately calculating costs for HVAC, piping, and or plumbing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Perform detailed take-offs and cost calculations accurately
- Prioritize tasks and meet timelines
- Collaborate with team members and project managers
Essential job functions:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or 3+ years of relevant working experience
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the mechanical contracting industry
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Ability to perform detailed take-offs and cost calculations accurately
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- MS Suite, Bluebeam, ProCore, Trimble or similar experience preferred
