Our Mechanical Engineers are highly-skilled engineering professionals who design gas detection solutions that keep our customers safe. They work with a cross-functional team to solve customer’s problems and support internal operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This intern will work closely with the Mechanical Engineers on mechanical designs and engineering support for the New Product Development projects as well as Sustaining, VAVE, and quality improvements projects of ISC legacy products.
The duties may include but are not limited to:
+ Perform testing, part searches, materials property research, reviews, and provide input to design related activities as directed by Senior Mechanical Engineers
+ Support the work of the Mechanical Engineering project teams while being provided mentorship to perform engineering related tasks
+ Become accustomed to engineering tools such as Windchill, Creo, and Jira to perform searches of content, document parts, and perform tasks
+ Collaborate with the project teams while utilizing tools such as Teams and MS Outlook for communication
+ Communicate with other Engineering teams and suppliers/partners to coordinate work or disseminate work performed on certain activities
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, graduating December 2025 or later.

The hourly range for this position is $20-$40/hour.
