Mechanical Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is partnering with a firm near Winder, Georgia to hire an entry-level Mechanical Engineer on a contract-to-direct hire basis. Candidates will assist with the engineering and design of industrial equipment and systems.

Expected Pay Range: $26.44-$31.25 per hour
Location: Winder, GA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, normal workday hours

Job Duties:
- Assist lead engineers with large-scale overhead crane projects
- Perform hands-on research and development 
- Select and utilize drive components such as motors, reducers, bearings, and drives
- Produce detailed part, assembly, and layout drawings
- Perform risk assessments of machinery
- Prepare technical documentation, project manuals, and reports

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 
- 3+ years of machine design experience
- Proficiency with SolidWorks 
- Ideal candidates also have experience working with sheet metal
