Mechanical Engineer at zobility

Job Description:

• The person in this position will work with multidisciplinary project teams providing mechanical engineering and related technical expertise

• Supervising the manufacturing processes,
• Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.
• Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.
• Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account, and that also minimize the carbon footprint.
• Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects
• Lep Carry out FMEAs (Failure Mode Effects Analysis) process documentation and implement improvement

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or associate degree in engineering
• Industry experience of 1-2 years preferably in a manufacturing or Plant Quality Exp or Design
• Strong Engineering understanding in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering/ Quality Engineering
• Knowledge and practical application of engineering principles, quality tools and methods such as Control Plans, PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, 8D, SPC, ISO 9001
• Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE or other)
• Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc.
• Creativity and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner

• Experience with Autocad , Solid Works , or NX
• Project Management
• Advanced Excel
• PPAP
• SAP
