Hourly Range: $18.00-$22.00/HR Full Time Position with Benefits
Local consumer products engineering and safety consulting Firm is hiring a ME Technician. We work with our clients to develop and/or improve the design and safety of children's products. Our small office is seeking a technical driven individual to join our team of Project and Mechanical Engineers.
Responsibilities
Education
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.

Responsibilities
- Typical, but not all, responsibilities for this position include interpreting product test reports and entering data into compliance databases.
- Performing mechanical tests of products and writing up findings for clients.
- Collaborating with other colleagues, testing facilities, government agencies and clients.
- Working with CAD and SolidWorks.
- Actively staying up to date on training and industry specific topics of mechanical engineering.
Education
- AAS in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
- SolidWorks training
- Technical Report Writing
- Mechanical Testing
- Mechanical Design
- Fabrication for Prototyping
- SolidWorks Experience
- Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook
