Role Overview:
The Mechanical Engineer – Structures will design and develop tracked vehicle hull structures, working from concept through prototype testing. This role reports to the Chassis Systems Chief Engineer and involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Role Overview:
The Mechanical Engineer – Structures will design and develop tracked vehicle hull structures, working from concept through prototype testing. This role reports to the Chassis Systems Chief Engineer and involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop combat vehicle chassis structures and mechanical components based on system requirements.
- Analyze subsystem performance, focusing on structural integrity and response.
- Oversee design and development of structural subsystems, such as ramps, hatches, and access panels.
- Present design progress to management and customers.
- Manage designers assigned to chassis structure development.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years in vehicle chassis system design or related fields.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in vehicle structure design and materials used in combat vehicles.
- Familiarity with CAD systems and structural analysis.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of model-based systems engineering is a plus.
- Experience with tracked combat vehicle structures, including survivability and manufacturability considerations.
- Must meet background check and security clearance eligibility.
- Occasional travel, including overseas, may be required.
- Primarily office-based with occasional prototype shop and fieldwork.
