Education:
•Mechanical Engineering degree is required
Experience:
•2-4 years’ experience doing the same work
Must Haves:
• Testing
• Validation Testing
• Verification Testing
• Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• 7-Step Problem Solving
• MATLAB
• Process Capability
• Data Analysis
• Coding background is a BONUS
Skills:
o Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability (Required)
o Team player and detail oriented (Required)
o Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations (Typically required)
o Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports (Typically required)
o Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) (Typically required)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices
o Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects
o Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew
o Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software
