- Provide preliminary design, develop detailed system plans, and specifications
- Responsible for equipment selection and negotiation, leveraging manufacturer and distributor relationships
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations to determine system requirements
- Collaborate with all vested parties to integrate HVAC systems with the overall building design
- Conduct system reviews and analysis to ensure compliance with building codes and energy efficiency standards
- Prepare technical documents, such as reports, calculations, and proposals
- Oversee the coordination the installation of HVAC systems
- Perform troubleshooting and assist with resolving HVAC system issues that may arise
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design or a relevant field
- Proficiency in HVAC principles and calculations
- Strong understanding of building codes and energy efficiency standards
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
