 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual designs or modify existing designs to meet customer's requirements.
• Create system level architecture.
• Complete layout of machine through detail of all components
• Manage the progress of projects relative to established plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Make recommendations for design direction.
• Lead teams and influence project direction and progress.
• Assist with the successful management of assigned projects as they relate to cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage several on-going projects concurrently.
• Assist in developing the Mechanical Engineering department through leadership, experience, encouragement, and mentorship.

 Qualifications:

• Experienced with design software like Inventor (preferred), SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Able to apply both an analytical perspective and practical understanding to solve design challenges using a systematic engineering approach.
• Experience with simulation tools (stress, dynamic analysis).
• Good working knowledge of designing in Inventor and AutoCAD design tools.
• Knowledge of automation products, services, and the industry.
• Capable of creating machine designs with complex assemblies and subassemblies utilizing parametric design methodology.
• Strong understanding of thermal, structural, and dynamic designs.
• Working knowledge and development of process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Strategic thinking.

 Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of related experience
