We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our diverse and talented team.
Position Overview:
The Mechanical Engineer will provide general engineering and related consulting services in concert with our government client's mission of supporting operations and maintenance objectives to the (INSERT CLIENT) client. These services will support projects that involve on-going operations, comprehensive renovations, as well as construction of new facilities at any number of locations throughout the world.
Responsibilities:
Develop and/or review planning documents
Conduct building code compliance evaluations
Perform peer review of plans, specification, and technical reports prepared by others
Develop design concepts and cost estimates, detailed designs, scopes of work and project schedules
Coordinate with architectural, civil/structural and electrical disciplines
Provide support in project design, bid and construction phases
Conduct cost benefit analysis, technical studies and feasibility studies
Serve as project/team lead
Provide contract administration support
Lead the production of design and technical information and work and maintain agreed technical and design standards
Attend meetings at various State Department Annex facilities upon request
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
Mechanical Engineering degree (ABET accredited)
EIT Certification required
Professional Engineer License preferred
Seven or more years of relevant experience required
Previous government contract experience preferred
Proficiency with Building Management Systems and AutoCAD
Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented and driven to perform high-quality work
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
U.S. Citizenship required
Top Secret Clearance required
