The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. You will be working on a diverse range of innovative projects, utilizing your engineering principles to create viable solutions to complex problems. This role requires a solid understanding of Solidworks, AutoCAD, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical, Inventor, ANSYS, ProMechanica, Kinematics, Thermodynamics, Freon, and CO2 Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
- Apply engineering principles and techniques to solve complex mechanical issues.
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
- Coordinate and consult with other team members to design, layout, or detail components and systems and resolve design or other problems.
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
- Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery.
- Direct and coordinate fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
- Evaluate mechanical designs or prototypes for energy performance or environmental impact.
- Use Solidworks, AutoCAD, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical, Inventor, ANSYS, ProMechanica, Kinematics, Thermodynamics, Freon, and CO2 Systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Solidworks, AutoCAD, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical, Inventor, ANSYS, ProMechanica, Kinematics, Thermodynamics, Freon, and CO2 Systems.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent mathematical, logical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional technical and mechanical skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A commitment to continued professional development.
