Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.
US Citizenship Required.
Primary job responsibilities include conceptual and detailed mechanical design, tolerance analyses, and performing trade studies.
The individual will be responsible for 2D and 3D engineering documentation creation and initial release, as well as coordination with other engineering and production disciplines for change notices and drawing revisions for producibility and affordability improvements.
Candidate will be working in the ATWS program area designing precision mechanical and opto-mechanical prototype, production, and test hardware in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Tasks and responsibilities may include support of system and subassembly level test planning and execution, production nonconformance MRB disposition, coordination and support for outside suppliers, and presentations at IPT meetings, PDRs, CDRs, DARs, and other internal and external customer reviews.
Basic REQUIRED Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field is required.
• Proficiency with CREO (Pro/Engineer) is required.
• Experience with developing and interpreting GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5 is required.
• Experience with PTC Windchill is required.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills is required.
Desired Skills:
• Good verbal and written communication skills are highly desirable.
• Multiple programs will be worked concurrently and the ability to coordinate and prioritize conflicting priorities is highly desirable.
• Occasional overtime may be required to satisfy schedule requirements.
• Experience on SAR programs/contracts is desirable.
• Experience with lab and flight integration and test support is a plus.
