Key Responsibilities:
- Factory Modeling & Simulation: Assist in the creation and maintenance of factory layouts, simulations, and models to optimize workflow, equipment utilization, and resource allocation.
- Throughput Analysis: Conduct throughput calculations to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements for production efficiency.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and analyze operational data to support performance analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, applications teams, and other departments to identify areas of improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Report Generation: Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings and proposed solutions to team members and management.
- Tool & Software Usage: Utilize factory modeling tools (Solidworks, Flexsim, Omniverse) to create 3D models and perform simulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in factory modeling and simulation software (Solidworks, Flexsim, Omniverse).
- Strong understanding of throughput analysis and manufacturing process optimization.
- Proficiency in Client Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with advanced Excel skills a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and tools.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Internship or coursework experience related to factory design, process optimization, or industrial engineering.
- Knowledge of production scheduling and resource planning.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools or programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
