Mechanical Engineer - GEM Technologies Inc.

GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This position is full-time and will serve the Nevada National Security Site in North Las Vegas, NV.

• Prepare mechanical schematics, and conceptual models.
• Experience with building systems (HVAC, Plumbing, and Pneumatics).
• Prepare mechanical programming packages.
• Prepare mechanical schematic design packages.
• Prepare figures for reports/specifications.
• Coordinate building point clouds.
• Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines Authority Having Jurisdiction, system engineers, facility managers, project managers, and project engineers.
• Build teaming relationship with technical and other company organizations.
• Develop technical requirements for infrastructure programs/projects.
• Ensure design deliverables comply with laws, codes, orders, and MSTS policies and procedures.
• Work effectively as a team member and leader to ensure task and project success.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineering License.
• Experience with glovebox design.

• To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
• Due to the nature of the work, a U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe Illustrators), SolidWorks. AutoCAD, Revit.

COMPENSATION: GEM does not publish salary ranges on external job boards; all ranges listed are estimates made by vendors and not actual salary ranges. GEM’s offered compensation is dependent on candidates’ education, qualifications, and relevant years of experience.
