Mechanical Engineer at TriMech Services

This is an onsite role. No remote or hybrid applicants

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products through comprehensive research and application of mechanics, hydraulics, and related principles.
• Develop and test models of alternative designs and processing methods to assess feasibility, operational impacts, and potential new applications, including necessary modifications.
• Validate system and product capabilities by designing and implementing feasibility studies and testing methodologies.
• Develop manufacturing processes by designing and adapting equipment for fabrication, assembly, and component installation.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures for engineering projects.
• Prepare detailed product reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
• Propose design modifications to rectify machine or system malfunctions.
• Provide technical support to customers as needed.

Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering and 3 – 5+ years of experience in Food/Health manufacturing.
• Proficient understanding of mechanical engineering principles and methodologies.
• Demonstrated proficiency in SOLIDWORKS.
• Exposure to CE and OSHA guarding standards.
• Working knowledge of machinery design for the food industry is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
