Mechanical Engineer - Mid Level - Ten Solutions

Overview of role:

• Reviewing 3D packaging of complex power converters, energy storage, and PLC systems
• Building of complex power converters, energy storage systems, and PLC systems
• Thermal design of high-performance cold plates, heat exchangers, and systems
• Structural analysis of package components, support structures, and shelving under harsh environment shock and vibration

Creation, review, and issuance of prototype and production-level drawings IAW GD&T standards

Minimum Requirements:

• United States Citizenship required due to US Government ITAR program restrictions
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
• BS in electrical engineering, computer science, or related major required, with a minimum 3.3 GPA
• MS and PhDs a plus
• 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience

The following experience is not required, but highly desirable:

• Experience with CREO 3D modeling software
• Experience with FEA and CFD modeling software packages
• Experience designing thermal management systems and/or high-performance cold plates or heat exchangers.
• Experience with insulation system design
