Mechanical Engineer (mid-level) - Miami, FL (Hybrid)

Your role:
- Performing complex mechanical building design on a variety of projects to include, but not limited to, buildings and facilities, including hospitals, laboratories, high rise residential and high-rise office, and other commercial and institutional projects.
- Incorporating design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software
- Assist teams in performing design load calculations, equipment selections and mechanical system design
- Providing credit documentation for LEED, and other building rating system design and compliance
- Assisting in the preparation of basis-of-design descriptions, responses to client comments and other project-related documentation.
- Attend meetings with architects, owners and building managers.
- Reviewing submittals and providing responses to Requests for Information
- Performing other duties as assigned

What kind of candidate are we looking for?
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 to 10 years of experience in HVAC system design for commercial, institutional, and healthcare facilities
Qualifications:
- Proficient with the use of Trace 700, AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Excellent technical skills, strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environment
- PE registration is highly preferred in Florida, or EIT with the ability to obtain a P.E. in 1-2 years.
- LEED AP BD+C accreditation is preferred
