Sr. Mechanical Engineer

One of the world’s most trusted manufacturers of blow molding machines, custom blow molds, and associated tooling has a need for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to perform engineering projects to develop new or improved designs, new products or improved manufacturability.

Job Requirements:

• BSME from a 4+ year accredited university
• 3+ years working experience as a Mechanical / Design / Applications Engineer
• Experience using Solidworks to generate 3D models and 2D drawings
• Team player with strong mechanical practical knowledge
• Experienced problem solver with demonstrated hands-on experience
• Experience with FEA simulation tools related to product design and/or electro-mechanical systems
• Experience performing kinematic studies and motion simulation
• Experience performing tolerance stacks and analyzing results
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products
• Familiarity with program management, time management, planning and scheduling
• Familiarity with Quality Management systems (ISO-9001, TS-16949, etc)
• Experience with GD&T and component inspection methodology
