Position Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Madison, OH

Full Time!!

Essential Functions

1. Provide testing / data collection on conceptual design and diagnostics.
2. Service customers with technical support.
3. Design and document straddle carriers and accessories.
4. Provide reverse engineering of obsolete component parts.
5. Develop and maintain technical support documentation.
6. Extensive external contacts with customers and vendors.
7. Internal contacts with service manager and shop mechanics.

Education and Experience

1. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with ABET
2. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
3. Industry specific experience is a plus

Skills (Language, Mathematical, Reasoning, Other)

1. Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and applications.
2. Interpersonal skills in dealing with customers, vendors and company personnel.
3. Communication skills including verbal, written and technical translation.
4. PC and Auto-Cad.
5. Mechanical Aptitude.
6. Knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery.
7. SolidWorks.
8. Mechanical and Electrical Design.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

1. Both mechanical shops and office environments
2. Some Overnight travel required
3. Occasional excess hours of work
4. Operate testing equipment
