Job Responsibilities
Position Purpose
We are currently seeking a high energy individual to work with our Production Support team as factory support for Lehigh Valley Operations. The candidate should be prepared to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment, gaining experience and knowledge in various aspects of engineering. As a valued member of the Production Support team within Group Trucks Technology (GTT), they will work directly with engineering in the production environment. This position will report to the Vehicle Geometry & Production Support Group Manager.
Position Responsibilities
Investigate manufacturing and assembly issues related to GTT product design
Analyze manufacturing and assembly problem reports to determine the best course of action to resolve problems and to implement cost effective solutions
Actively work to eliminate GTT design issues that contribute to demerits on the factory product audits
Work with the design groups to release clear and accurate documentation of design solutions to manufacturing
Investigate assembly and manufacturing information affecting product development

Attention to Detail: Provide accurate data and reports that are pertinent to the team s tasks
Teamwork: Build cooperation among individuals, global and cross-functional departments, sharing information and work to achieve group goals and outcomes
Strong communication skills: Listen effectively, transmit information accurately and understandably, along with actively seeking feedback from experienced engineers, project manager, etc. to address items in a timely manner
Dependability/Reliability: Follow through on commitments, timely delivery on projects, assigned tasks, etc.
Flexibility: Willing to perform a wide range of tasks, positive response to changes in direction and priorities, and acceptance of new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.)
