Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Mechanical Engineer, we'll count on you to:
- Coordinate the work of mechanical design team with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the entire project's development.
- Assess and design wide range on HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects.
- Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance.
- Coordinate workload to complete documents on scheduleā¢ Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance.
- Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with the Project Manager, Project Architect and other disciplines.
- Coordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule.
- Review mechanical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines.
- Write and edit mechanical specifications and select equipment, mechanical systems and other devises.
- Coordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule.
- Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders, and incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documents.
- Provide construction contract administration as needed.
- Conduct QA/QC on the work of other Mechanical Project Engineers, Mechanical Project Coordinators, or Mechanical BIM Technicians as needed.
- Perform other duties as needed.
