Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices, including dimensions, fastening methods, and other engineering information.
- Possesses technical skills, including the knowledge of design techniques and blueprint reading.
- Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices
- Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crewo Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software".
- Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor
Requirements:
- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability (Required)
- Team player and detail oriented (Required)
- Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations (Typically required)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports (Typically required)
- Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) (Typically required)
- Testing

- Verification Testing
- Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- 7-Step Problem Solving
- MATLAB
- Process Capability
- Data Analysis
- Coding background is a BONUS
- Mechanical Engineering degree is required
- 2-4 years’ experience doing the same work
