Job Details
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in MEP design, with a focus on plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.
- Experience in designing plumbing systems for healthcare facilities, labs, K12 schools, higher education institutions, and/or government projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Duties:
- Develop HVAC/Plumbing system designs for healthcare, education, and government projects.
- Conduct site visits to gather information required for design.
- Produce plumbing plans, sections, details, and schedules using Revit.
- Coordinate plumbing designs with other trades and disciplines.
- Participate in meetings with clients and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Prepare equipment specifications and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents.
- Review submittals and respond to RFIs.
