Mechanical Engineer - Entegee

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, implement, and troubleshoot mechanical systems and subsystems.

Job Requirements:

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from ABET certified institution

• 5 to 10 years of experience with mechanical design

• 3+ years of experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD modeling systems

• Strong knowledge of structural design principles

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SolidWorks Simulation

• Practical knowledge of machinery product design, verification, and validation processes

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new mechanical systems according to specifications

• Develop product requirements, specifications, and schedules

• Conduct feasibility studies for functionality and reliability

• Troubleshoot designs with cross-functional team members

• Collaborate with project management on scheduling and design improvements

• Evaluate and recommend design changes when necessary

• Conduct product design, verification, and validation to meet milestones

• Maintain detailed documentation throughout the design process

• Lead technical design reviews

• Create detailed drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks

• Perform structural analysis using SolidWorks Simulation

• Prepare specifications, data sheets, and drawings as needed

• Review vendor proposals and drawings

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
