About the Job
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary teams on projects related to Higher Education, Science & Technology, Government, Healthcare and Mixed-Use projects.
Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems including heating, cooling, heat rejection, air distribution, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation and controls.
- Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development and construction documents
- Deliver projects across multiple delivery models, including design/bid/build, design assist, design build
- Manage multi-disciplinary teams on projects related to Government, Healthcare, Higher Education and Science & Technology
- Maintain strong client relations as it pertains to project delivery and repeat business
Mechanical Engineer Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Engineering required from an accredited four-year university
- P.E. License preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an engineer, designing HVAC systems
- Experience and strong understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Piping, Boiler, Chiller or Related Mechanical Building system
- Business Development capabilities
- Familiarity with BIM
- Experience with monitoring and managing project budgets
- Project management and supervisor experience preferred
