Mechanical Engineer at Tek Labs Inc

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take on operational responsibility for the day-to-day development of new designs and changes to existing products. The role requires experience and the ability to perform analysis and draw conclusions. You will focus on your technical area with limited interfaces to other technical areas.

Responsibilities

• Design cooling system components and sub-components for PWTI - ICE powertrain installation (internal combustion engines) as needed.
• Design exhaust system components and sub-components for PWTI - ICE powertrain installation (internal combustion engines) as needed.
• Ensure new designs fulfill business targets, requirements, and Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature targets.
• Front-load work to ensure robust early-stage releases and stable late-stage releases.
• Release components as applicable to resolve maintenance issues or secure project deliveries.
• Assist in developing modular systems and components to optimize part diversity.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in mechanical engineering and mechanical design.
• Experience with cooling systems and powertrain installation.
• Experience with exhaust systems.
• Creo design experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) preferred.
