About the Job
Client is a consulting Mechanical/Electrical/Technology engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Mid Level (II) to Upper-Mid Level Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years of pertinent experience and a current Mechanical PE registration for our office in Genesee, Colorado, just 20 minutes from Denver.
Mid Level Mechanical Engineers are assigned specific tasks on the project team and are expected to use their education, experience, and common sense to resolve the engineering problems and tasks they are assigned and meet client expectations. They are expected to delegate tasks and maintain project schedules. The Engineer shall exhibit leadership skills through their management of their projects, clients and their supporting team members.
THIS POSITION INCLUDES
Primary design principles and responsible charge of mechanical designs for a variety of facilities including commercial, healthcare, educational, government, and more.
Oversee production of project designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, equipment selection and application.
Provide peer review and QA/QC of staff engineer work.
Performs limited 3D Revit and/or 2D CAD work.
Provide onsite observations and contract administration of design projects.
Attends Design meetings and/or OAC meetings as necessary.
Participates in Fee Proposal Development. Manages project team workloads.

QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
Resourceful in solving problems, application of knowledge and skills to new situations. Ability to alter activities to meet the demands of new situations and tasks.
Effective, positive, and proactive communication with Clients.
Attention to detail.
Good people skills and great attitude are a MUST.
