Duluth, GA: Mechanical Engineer Opportunity (Defense & Security)

Do you thrive on designing innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges? Our established engineering firm, specializing in the Defense and Security markets, seeks a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Duluth, GA.

In this role, you will:

• Design and develop complex mechanical parts and products.
• Leverage your expertise in aluminum enclosure design (milled and casted)
• Utilize Pro-E Creo/Windchill for 3D design (SolidWorks proficiency is also a plus)
• Apply your knowledge of thermal management principles.
• Prototype solutions using 3D printing or other methods.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify root causes.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues through strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)

To qualify, you should possess:

• 6+ years of experience in a related design field
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (MSME preferred)
• Experience with complex mechanical design projects.
• Proven ability to design aluminum enclosures (both milled and casted)
• Proficiency in Pro-E Creo/Windchill or SolidWorks for 3D design
• Understanding of thermal management design
• Experience with 3D printing or other prototyping techniques.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
