We are on the hunt for an experienced and dynamic Mechanical Engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in designing and improving manufacturing processes and systems for increased quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost savings. With a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach, the ideal candidate will be deeply involved in our manufacturing processes from start to finish. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate, develop, and improve manufacturing systems and processes using advanced techniques such as CAD, simulations, and other tools to ensure optimal performance.
2. Work closely with the production team to implement new designs and systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.
3. Collaborate with the design team to understand product requirements and translate them into practical, cost-effective, and efficient manufacturing processes.
4. Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and systems, identifying areas for improvement or modification.
5. Develop and manage project plans, coordinating with various teams to ensure timely and on-budget completion.
6. Ensure all manufacturing processes and equipment comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
7. Create detailed reports and documentation, providing clear and concise updates to stakeholders on project progress, issues, and solutions.
8. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Fabrication, and other relevant software.
4. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes and systems.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on detail and precision.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. Sound knowledge of industry safety regulations and quality standards.
9. A proactive, hands-on approach, with a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
10. Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and improvement.
