Salary Range: $80K- $90K Permanent Position with Benefits.
Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their fast-growing team in their Cleveland, Ohio facility. The key responsibility of the Mechanical Engineer will be to assist project level engineers in various levels of research, planning and design of mechanical parts, processes, products, and tooling.

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their fast-growing team in their Cleveland, Ohio facility. The key responsibility of the Mechanical Engineer will be to assist project level engineers in various levels of research, planning and design of mechanical parts, processes, products, and tooling.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required.
- Must have 5+ years' experience.
- Must be able to read & interpret Blueprints.
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD.
- Must have experience with Mechanical drafting. ( Siemens NX)
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Must have experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Must have experience with Hydraulics & Pneumatic systems.
- Experience/Knowledge of Machining materials
- Good understanding of Manufacturing processes
- Must have excellent math skills. (Geometry, algebra, trigonometry)
- Experience with Metallurgy
- Experience with Electrical systems a plus
- Experience with Machine tools a plus
- Experience/Knowledge with FMEA.
Duties:
- Designs prototype parts and/or proposals of parts; prototype and production tooling; and customized part-handling systems.
- Drafts parts and assemblies of all types--for presentation in both print and electronic formats.
- Creates and updates bill of material and interacts with outside vendors to procure off-the-shelf material.
- Updates tooling prints after die is built and tested.
- Handles quality-control requirements and gaging for checking part.
- Handles various project assignments at different levels.
- Participates in team that designs part manufacturing process: roles include at varying times procuring material, solving scheduling problems, troubleshooting design, and operating parts.
