We are on the hunt for a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on system design, water treatment systems, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), testing, and analysis. This is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to work on exciting projects that will challenge and expand your existing skill set.
Responsibilities:
As our Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are crucial to our operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
2. Applying knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
3. Conducting product testing and analysis to evaluate the performance and efficiency of mechanical systems.
4. Working closely with other engineering disciplines in the development and application of automated and robotic systems.
5. Utilizing CAD/CAM software for design and analysis.
6. Participating in the design and optimization of water treatment systems.
7. Applying DFM strategies to improve the manufacturability of products, reduce production costs, and improve product quality.
8. Collaborating with the team to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems and failures.
9. Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary materials and components.
10. Ensuring all mechanical engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization’s established policies and objectives.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with system design, water treatment systems, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), testing, and analysis.
4. Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software for product design and analysis.
5. Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes, including assembly and testing.
6. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
7. Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.
10. A professional engineering (PE) license is a plus.
