Job Details
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to develop innovative mechanical solutions tailored to project requirements.
- Conduct detailed design calculations, simulations, and analysis to optimize mechanical systems for performance, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for mechanical components and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems, providing technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or challenges, and propose timely solutions to ensure project milestones are met within budget and schedule constraints.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in mechanical engineering, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in mechanical design and engineering within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and relevant engineering analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, piping, and other mechanical components commonly used in construction projects.
