Job Details
- Oversee equipment engineering through all project phases, from design to commissioning
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, data sheets, and vendor requirements
- Conduct calculations and sizing for equipment, piping, valves, and related components
- Direct the design team in developing PFDs, P&IDs, and BOMs
- Manage equipment procurement and coordinate with vendors to ensure compliance and quality
- Participate in testing, inspections, and on-site troubleshooting
- Contribute to operational support, continuous improvement initiatives, and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5-15 years in mechanical design, ideally in an industrial equipment setting
- Experience with air separation plant equipment (e.g., compressors, cryogenic expanders, vaporizers)
- Excellent skills in project coordination, technical review, and problem-solving
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
