Mechanical Designer - Konik

Mechanical Designer
East Metro | Direct Hire | $25-$30/hr

Konik is partnered with a growing client who is looking for a SolidWorks Designer to join their expanding team. In this role, you will work with custom drawings in SolidWorks.

Mechanical Designer Responsibilities:

• Create drawings utilizing SolidWorks software in both 2D and 3D
• Calculate dimensions and specify standard allowances
• Prepare bills of material, shop drawings, and programming for flame cut parts
• Prepare job packets for all production departments
• May convert some AutoCAD prints to SolidWorks

Mechanical Designer Requirements:

• One year certificate from college or technical school OR 3-6 months of experience/training in related experience
• Steel/metal fabrication background preferred but not required
• Must have previous SolidWorks experience
• Must be well versed in Microsoft Excel
