Mechanical Designer/HVAC - Selectek, Inc.

We have an exciting opportunity with our client for a mechanical designer with a focus on HVAC systems. The role will be to utilize Revit to create Industrial HVAC system designs. This will include industrial ventilation, heating, and air conditioning design to meet process and building needs as well as dust collection. The role will work with the engineering teams from initial planning and design phase of equipment, systems, or processes.

The team members will be asked to coordinate with other disciplines including Electrical, Structural, Architectural, and Process. A background with industrial and commercial HVAC systems such as Industrial Ventilation, Heating and Air Conditioning to meet Process and building needs, and dust collection is ideal. The role will ask candidates to work with Industrial Mechanical utility systems such as chilled water, cooling tower water, heating water, steam and condensate, compressed air, natural gas, and water. Any experience with plumbing and fire protection is a plus.

Required:

• 5 plus years of experience in building mechanical hvac design for Industrial and/or commercial projects.
• Revit Proficiency

Preferred:

• 10 plus years of experience in HVAC Design
• Plumbing and Fire Protection Design
• Comfortable with field working including gathering site information for design.

Long term position, contract or contract to hire available. Must be able to work in Greer, SC

Pay $35/hr-$50/hr
