Mechanical Designer/Drafter at Blue Wing Technical

Blue Wing Technical has a client looking  Mechanical Drafter/Designer to use Autodesk’s AutoCAD and Inventor to create 2D fabrication drawings and 3D models in a small office environment. Required:

· 3+ years’ experience in Mechanical Drafting/Design.

· Proficient in Autodesk Inventor.

· Proficient in AutoCAD.

Preferred:

· Associates Degree (highly preferred)

· Prior experience with industrial ductwork.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Work closely and communicate effectively alongside company’s design team.

· Produce fabrication drawings from sketches passed along from Engineers and Designers.

· Produce 3D models from 2D drawings.

· Assist in creating 3D library.

· Work with existing design team to transition company into 3D design.

· Ability to assist in other areas of the company business, as needed. These areas may include file management, drawing shipments, and service support.
