Selectek has an opportunity for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Spartanburg, SC with a custom designer, manufacturer, and fabricator. In this contract-to-hire role, you'll play a vital role in exceeding their customer’s expectations.

Note: You must be authorized to work for any employer in the USA to be considered.

What You'll Do:

• Breathe life into innovative designs – Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks to ensure clear communication and efficient manufacturing.
• Collaborate for success – Work hand-in-hand with sales and manufacturing teams, external suppliers, and customers to define product specifications, source equipment, and ensure designs meet quality standards and cost-effectiveness
• Be the problem-solver – Provide expert engineering support to manufacturing and sales, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring smooth production.

You're a Perfect Fit If You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in industrial machinery design and manufacturing
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• An Associate of Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor's Degree a plus)
