Mechanical Design Engineer - Penn Technical Staffing

A Malvern, PA based Design/Build engineering firm is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.  Must be able to take a new product design project from concept to production.  Job responsibilities: Manage design projects including instructing subordinates, keeping within budget and schedule, and preparing progress reports; Perform engineering analyses to determine loads, moments and stresses in new and existing designs; Perform thermal and thermodynamic analyses of engineered systems as required; Select motors, actuators, and drive system components for automation and other dynamic systems; Provide estimates for engineering, design and drafting time required for new design projects. Create 3D models of manufactured parts, purchased parts, sheet metal parts, machined parts, injection molded parts, and assemblies of parts using good modeling techniques.  Job Requirements: BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years experience in new product development.  Must be CAD proficient with SolidWorks or Solid Edge or Inventor.  #IND
