Mechanical Design Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

MEP firm in north metro Atlanta is looking to add an experienced mechanical HVAC engineer to their team.

Summary:
The Mechanical Design engineer will be capable of designing and documenting mechanical HVAC systems for a variety of project types including medical facilities, office buildings, retail and multi- family projects.Main responsibilities will include:

• Mechanical designs for HVAC systems for commercial projects.
• Preparing CAD/REVIT generated construction drawings and specifications
• Performing submittal/shop drawing reviews and production
• Meeting/webinars with clients to coordinate designs
• Meeting with vendors to specify appropriate equipment
• Managing and delivering revisions
• Responding to RFI's
• Conducting construction site reviews (as required)
• Supporting mechanical staff as required

Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• 2 plus years as a Mechanical Engineer generating HVAC construction drawings and specification for commercial projects.
• Revit Proficiency

Preferred:

• Plumbing Experience
• EIT or PE

Pay:  $32-$38/hr.
Location:  Duluth, GA
