Mechanical Design Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to take on bulk material handling conveyor design projects.

This position will focus on the production of shop drawings for industrial bulk material handling systems as well as associated engineering work. Typical design will be for conveyors, chutes, stacker reclaimers and other bulk material handling equipment. These systems will be produced in with a combination of SolidWorks and Advance Steel.

Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years mechanical detail/design for heavy industrial machines
• SolidWorks or Inventor proficiency

Preferred:

• Bulk material handling conveyor equipment

Job Order Details:
Create shop drawings for bulk material handling conveyor equipment using SolidWorks and other engineering duties.

Sponsorship: No, need to be US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Pay Rate: $32/hour - $40.50/hour ($67,000 - $85,000 annual salary)
Term of assignment: 6 months contract to hire
Pay Method When Direct:  Salary, No OT pay
Location of job: Alpharetta
Hours & Shift: Flex Start Time 6:30am-9:30am; work an 8-hour day
Work From Home/Remote: No
Overtime: Not on a Regular basis
Travel: None for the first year, but if they are open to it as they advance they would like for them occasionally to travel to job sites to learn more.
Work Attire: Business Casual
