Mechanical Design Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

We have an exciting opportunity for a mechanical design engineer to take on bulk material handling conveyor design projects.

This position’s focus will be the production of shop drawings for industrial bulk material handling systems as well as associated engineering work. Typical design will be for conveyors, chutes, stacker reclaimers and other bulk material handling equipment These systems will be produced in with a combination of Solidworks and Advance Steel.

Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• 3 Plus Years Mechanical Detail/Design for heavy industrial machines.
• Solidworks or Inventor proficiency

Preferred:

• Bulk material handling conveyor equipment

The role will support more senior engineers. To start and learn product line, there will be a lot of Cad drawings with Solidworks.  Basic Calculations and learning to use certain formulas will be taught also. As the engineer becomes more familiar with the work, they will take on more complex projects.

Pay Range will depend on experience
