Mechanical Construction Manager

Want to leverage your expertise with a team of highly skilled engineers? We are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager for our client who has experience in either the commercial or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review plans, specifications, and codes to assess project requirements
• Source and evaluate bids from subcontractors, selecting reliable partners
• Assemble and lead project teams, assigning responsibilities for smooth operations amongst subcontractors
• Create project schedules and budgets, monitoring performance for successful outcomes
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance and track progress.
• Act as the main contact for clients, facilitating communication and addressing inquiries
• Oversee project finances, ensuring profitability and maintaining stakeholder relationships
• 10-25% travel

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management/engineering/science or three years working as an Assistant Project Manager or seven years of relevant experience to project management
• Strong background in commercial mechanical project management; federal project experience is a plus
• Knowledge of construction technologies, scheduling, and financial tracking
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
