Job Overview:
Provide mechanical drafting services on equipment designs, including drawing packages, layouts, plans, and details following national and company CAD standards. The selected candidate should have experience supporting equipment projects through all stages of planning, conceptual and detail design, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
+ Working with project engineers on various project drafting needs
+ Preparing layouts, P&ID, piping details, and mechanical design drawings
+ Calculating quantity take-offs
+ Communicating potential design issues as identified
+ Incorporating instruction and feedback from project engineers
+ Collaborating with team members
+ Keeping up to date with software
+ Providing other duties as required
Basic Qualifications:
+ Associates degree or vocational training in drafting or similar
+ 5+ years of experience with specialization in preparing designs in the mechanical engineering field
+ Proficient in AutoCAD
+ Excellent oral communication skills and attention to detail
+ Ability to work in a team environment
+ Self-starter and problem solver
+ Knowledge of engineering and equipment design
